One major revision I seem to make between my rough and final draft is adding more information or paragraphs to get the points im trying to make more understandable. This was a quote coming from my rough draft of paper 1 “Now we have all been guilty of covering even if we don’t realize it.” This is how I started a my second paragraph in paper 1 but I felt it didn’t really get the point I was trying to make. In my final paper I changed the second paragraph to start with “People can feel pressure today to fit into the social norms that we have today.” I feel this was more understandable to what this paragraph was about. I wanted to talk about the pressure of social norms today. I still liked my quote from the rough draft paragraph 2 and in my final I started paragraph 3 with that first quote to develop those ideas to my paper.
For local revision I made a lot of spelling mistakes or leaving out words. In paper 1 rough draft I had this sentence in my third paragraph “They feel is they don’t conform to the norm that they will be judged or outcasted from people.” Now I was really leaving out some words that made the sentence make sense. In my final draft I revised it to “They feel as if they don’t conform to the norm that they will be judged or outcasted from people.” I revised this sentence so that it made sense while going further into my examples. For local revision its just fixing a lot of sentences that I left words out of or spelling errors.
