Essentialism to me is the fact that everything is set to be what it is meant to be. If something is an object then it has a set of attributes that makes it a pencil and you can’t change what that means. This also goes with people that they have different characteristics that make them who they are. Now that is different though because people are always changing and growing into the best version of themselves. But in the core is what makes them who they are.
